Marc, a 35-year-old man with Down’s syndrome, has been living in an apartment in St-Hubert since 2018. His home is part of the innovative “L’appart à moi” housing model.
This is an apartment complex for people with intellectual disabilities. Each person has a private apartment and access to common rooms, as well as on-site support when needed.
His home is bright and welcoming, decorated with his artistic creations and featuring a well-equipped workspace and balcony. Marc has a great talent for drawing and painting, which he particularly enjoys.
Marc works as a janitorial assistant at a South Shore CEGEP. He cleans the cafeteria three times a week, a job he started last fall.
